The MELTA YouTube Project, approved earlier at the MELTA exco meeting in March 2016, was eventually launched at the MIRCELE on 26 Nov 2016. It started off with a contest calling for English Language teaching/learning videos sharing tips for teachers (T4T), open to Malaysian teachers/ teacher-trainees/TESL students. Soon after its launch, invitations were sent out in mid December to about 20 institutions and to all MELTA members to participate in the contest called MELTA T4T Video Contest. Announcements also appeared on the MELTA website and the MELTA facebook page.
Submission of video entries closed on 14 February 2017, but a call for a second round of submission of videos was announced in early March 2017, with the new closing date on 15 July 2017. Please look for the MELTA T4T Video Contest: Second Round poster on the MELTA website and the MELTA facebook page.
